Position Overview
Stax provides our clients with insightful analyses and recommendations regarding market and investment opportunities, competitive threats, customer segmentation strategies, channel conflicts and other market-facing issues. Underlying out insights are creative and rigorous research methodologies that leverage both primary and secondary sources. We are seeking creative researchers to provide in-depth research across all industry areas to support client work.
Responsibilities
Generate personal profiles & lists of contact in response to research requests.
Assist in creating “Research Packs" on various companies and industries for the use of U.S. consultants and managers
Summarize research findings and draw out implications to support project and sales teams.
Ensure timely & quality delivery.
Gather, review analyze and interpret data generated from secondary research sources.
Support Senior Analysts with projects (e.g.: conduct market sizing, customer segmentation).
Support ongoing business intelligence, competitive and best practice efforts.
Requirements
Currently following an undergraduate program in Economics, Finance or Business degree OR part-qualified in CIMA/CIM OR having proven record in holding leadership position OR excelled in sports or extra curricular activities.
Knowledge of current affairs & interested in Consulting.
Superior written and verbal communication skills in English.
Desired personal traits
Interested and able to research across industries & persistence in identifying and extracting data / information from published sources.
Ability to think-outside-the-box & be comfortable working with online sources and research databases.
Ability to search for information creatively and efficiently, and juggle multiple quick-turnaround projects under tight deadlines, with little or no supervision.
Ability to voice opinions during meetings.
